Greenwich Historical Society New in 2009

New in 2009, The Historical Society’s Young Collectors is a group developed to target potential members between the ages of 21 and 37. Young Collectors qualify for a specially-priced ticket to Antiquarius’ Opening Gala on December 3, 2009, as well as an invitation to the group’s first-ever “after party” immediately following the gala, to be held at Louie’s Restaurant & Bar on River Road Extension in Cos Cob, CT.

Young Collectors will focus on current social marketing channels like Facebook and Twitter to recruit first-time members and will encourage networking throughout the year via mixers and events related to Historical Society activities.

The group’s goal is to assist fundraising and help raise awareness of The Historical Society of the Town of Greenwich’s role in preserving and interpreting local history for a whole new generation of residents.

Founding co-chairs are Samantha Knapp and Jen Danzi.
